The last couple of months we have embarked on a life changing spiritual awakening that cannot be changed or duplicated because it has come straight from God Himself. With this awakening, our spiritual eyes have been opened to the deeper things in the spirit. The deep calleth unto the deep. (Psalm 42:7)
God has now brought us to the birthing process. He has planted the seed of revival in us and has nourished it through the WORD and PRAYER!!
Now that the seed has been planted, and begun to grow, it left us with no other choice but to travail in prayer. We have willingly sacrificed and given of ourselves in many ways. The Daniel Fast was no coincidence. There had to be some sacrifices. It was necessary to get rid of all the junk in order to have a healthy birth. Past hurts, grudges, hidden sins, jealousy, hatred and emotional issues had to leave us ALL.
God Himself has brought us to a spiritual understanding and Heavenly knowledge like never before. NOW we are kingdom minded! For we have tasted and know that God is good. We have now turned the table on our prayers where they are no longer self-centered, but outward believing God to save our city, community, and families. Our prayers are no longer me, mine and ours, but His!
Let us continue to travail for those who are lacking true knowledge of who their TRUE maker is. If they only knew Him by name… the only Name that saves, heals, restores, delivers and renews. It is essential for them to know Him by name.
May our prayers tear down the wall of humanism, evolution and change the heart of the atheistic. It is essential for them to know Him for who He is. It is the name, which sets addicts of all kind free, the name that will cause a streetwalker to desire the bosom of Jesus and not man. It is the name that will draw empty teenagers to the altar of repentance. “Only if they knew him”
In Psalms 126:5-6, the word clearly states, “They that sow in tears shall reap with joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again with rejoicing brings his sheaves (something bound) with him.
We can shed tears over anything, but when we have a heavy burden for someone,
it will burn within us and cause us to travail. Something will happen and break in
the spiritual realm. Intercession breaks strongholds in the spirit realm that mere
tears cannot touch. Travailing prayer changes the atmosphere… God will not bring
us to a place of travail and not cause a delivery.
Isa 66:8 & 9 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the
earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for
as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
(verse 9) Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
We must continue push, push, push, pray, pray, pray until souls are born into the kingdom of God. Yes, we are at the birthing stage ready to bring forth!
Revival Prayer has become travailing prayer. We cannot stop travailing, what will happen if we go backwards, we cannot put our hands to the plow and turn back to our old ways. We must pursue as Hannah and not give up.
Isaiah 37:3 “For the children are come to the birth and there is not enough strength to bring forth.” I pray that this verse does not reflect us… God has called us and equipped us for such a day as this!
Let me encourage us ALL to continue in the vein of Revival Travailing prayer! May our spiritual womb stay full with a burden to see the lost saved! Just as Hannah, we will maintain our faith in God and never give up! Remember the Lord will not plant the seed, and not bring it to life!

About Us
- UPC of Harvey Prayer Ministry
- One of the main ingredients in the foundation of a church and in its effectiveness is prayer. The prayer ministry of the United Pentecostal Church of Harvey, is founded on the scripture which states: “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” Matthew 18:19 We are a church that believes in and practices consistent, powerful, prayer. Prayer is our link to God; we count it a privilege not a duty. In us is nothing but in God is EVERYTHING!!
